Redesign of budgeting process (make it collaborative)

Solution

The baseline was to move Excel-based-and-exchanged budget sheets for a multinational company with dozens of cost centers.

The requirements included managing the confidentiality of information, updating formulas based on a template, creating monthly budgets for departments, and consolidating into a master budget; data volume - several million rows.

The challenge was to make fast-running scripts, with efficient API calls, and a standalone system monitoring tool.
